Plans to build a 7-Eleven at the intersection of May Street and San Marco Avenue are moving forward, and a permit for the project has already been approved.

The permit will be issued after a few final steps are completed, said David Birchim, director of the planning and building department. That includes some paperwork and a building permit fee.
